I am torn about the 3200, like the specs... but I've had many a entry level and the lack of quick settings and having to drive into the menus is annoying...

Mated to a 24-70 or 70-200 or anything but a prime wastes many of them pixels, not a big deal but still likely not much difference between a 3100 and 3200 with the kit or cheaper DX lense I think.

For those that care about IQ that pixel density with prime but without AFS tuning makes me wonder if you will get everything you can...

On the fence do I go light and small used D3100/D3200/D5100 sold them all wish I had them again.

Can't wait to see the D600 and what it really can do..

Oh like the shot too

Thanks for the compliment.
Im actually going to use the 3200 for professional work.

I had a Canon 1Ds3 and sold it just recently....i mention this just to show that i don't have any loyalty to any brand.

The 1Ds3 is a superb camera, but we are doing more and more videos, so we wanted something light and does both video and stills.
