I would like to add as well that if ISO is critical, the Pentax K-5 is the APS-C leader when it comes to IQ (and it is almost $400 cheaper than the D7000 now, so there is no question whatsoever about which is the better deal)

Um...no. The K-5 is not the APS-C leader in IQ. Pentax provided an ISO setting of ISO 80, and that's why it got an extra point on DxOMark. Otherwise, at every other ISO setting where the Pentax isn't "smoothed", the D7000 does better. At ISO 3200 Pentax starts to "smooth" (as described by DxO) their output. So it appears to do better, but that's because of noise reduction in the RAW output. It's all there in the DxOMark review and scoring.

And there's also the fact that the K-5 sucks as a camera compared to the D7000. Better AF, better flash system, etc...there's a reason why the D7000 cost more...it's worth more.
