RAW and JPEG Capture

Most of my FZ150 photos have been in JPEG format, but I occasionally use RAW format for capture.

Wondering if photo settings for both formats are the nominally the same (except for the format selection).

Of course the post-processing will be different, and RAW may have increased latitude in certain areas, but are the nominal settings for image capture the same, or do folks do anything different because they are shooting in RAW?
