Although the MMF-3 adapter is essentially free, aside form the PITA rebate hassle, I am returning mine. All but worthless as the AF speed is abysmal. Literally takes a solid 5-6 seconds (first few seconds to hunt, then another few to finally lock) with the wonderful 4/3 Zuiko 50mm 1.2 Macro - which I had hoped would make a most worthy macro lens for the EM-5's excellent sensor. I will not even bother to try it with the rest of my 4/3 stable. I was expecting a slowdown, of course, but nothing this ridiculous.

On the other hand, the 12-50 ยต4/3 is more versatile, compact and provides better images than I anticipated. An ideal kit lens, IMO. YMMV.
