My D800 focus points have a mind of their own, do yours?

I am a left eye shooter, and got similar problems as you describe. Only to find my nose was the culprit. The layout at the back of the camera has changed somehow, leading to my 'nose' problem. Still have it sometimes, even tho I pay attention to it.

Since I cannot change the wheel position on the body, nor the nose on my face, I have to live with it.
