I don't know about on the camera, but since we haven't really seen that yet there might be something we aren't thinking about that is very helpful. That said, allowing a wireless interface for your smartphone to manage the camera is a really good idea.

Using remote settings banks on the smartphone, able to download them with the press of a button, remote focusing/triggering, full menu mgmt from the phone, streaming live view, setting download locations, etc. all make lots of sense and could just be "in there" in today's world.

For an interactive device, they sure do limit that way we interact with it given the technology that's around today.
