Nikon D 7000 exposure issue!

Hey Guys!

I have a problem, I've tried googling it and have read through my manual a few times. I own a Nikon D7000.

So I took a picture to help show what I'm talking about. Its the arrow that points to the right under neath my exposure compensation and above the battery symbol.

Form what i have read it is the bracketing, or has something to do with the bracketing.

My problem is that every time I shoot in M or S my photos come out completely black! Doesn't do it in A or Auto/P. I've reset everything on my camera best I can but if someone could please shed some light - I'm worried my camera is broken!
