Unless you get one of these, how can you know the shutter count? I knew people would be asking about shutter count and I was selling this camera. No charge from Canon and I am within driving distance of the service center so I had Canon check the count.
Call Canon and ask for shutter replacement cost and factor that into what you are willing to pay and just buy the camera.
I purchased the camera listed new at retail. Purchased a second three years later for $1800 used and kept the used camera and sold the original new camera for $1700.
