Sony to become the biggest shareholder of Olympus

As reported by Nikkei today, Olympus has reached agreement with Sony to accept Sony's 50 billion yen investment and Sony will become Olympus' biggest shareholder.

Three other companies were also shortlisted in this deal including Panasonic, as reported week ago. However, Panasonic has decided not to invest in Olympus by 21st June.
