Puffin with lunch. D800 FX crop

Just beginning to explore the FX native mode of the D800 with birds and I am astonished by the 3d like quality as well as the detail.

This puffin has just been collecting lunch for it's young and is just about to bolt down it's burrow. taken on Staple Island, one of the Farne Islands of the the Northumrian coast of England. There are other puffin images taken with the D800 in the D800 gallery link below.
