Well "brick" was probably an exaggeration. But my wife hates the "big and heavy" LX5. She has an ELPH 100, which is probably about 1/3 the size of the LX5.

It's all a matter of perspective, though. I bought the LX5 because it is small compared to my 60D and 4 lenses. I just meant the typical point and shoot is a slim, smooth pocket camera and the LX5 is definitely not that.
