Good-bye LX5.... Hello LX6 ????

I disagree. There is plenty of room remaining for product differentiation within the enthusiast compact market, and the first two models in the LX range hit on two of them: true wide angle (ie. wider than 28mm equiv) and reasonable speed at longer focal lengths.

I know you think it is foolish to speculate on what Panasonic will come out with, but I think it's great sport.

If the 1" sensor rumour proves correct it will require some kind of major adjustments so it will be fascinating to see what Panasonic comes up with.
