It might be too late now because you have been turning it off and on a few times but you could try putting the camera (with battery and card out) in a zip lock bag filled with dry rice and/or those little silica gel/desiccant bags and leave it in there for at least 24 hrs before trying it again.

Usually you need to do it right away after you realize the device has gotten wet but you might still hav a chance if you can get it dried out.

It has worked for me with a little point&shoot and with an iPhone. It just takes a little time. If you have the patience then give it 48 hrs. Good luck either way.
