Is Canon full-frame lagging?

you realise that the D800 isn't as high on Amazon simply because you can't actually BUY it? It's out of stock for a good reason. Look at the top 3 selling cameras.

The 5D3 is readily available however.

I don't think anyone was prepared for the D800, certainly not Canon.

and I'm pro-Canon before you call me a troll. If the 5D3 was the same price as a D800, I'd pull the trigger and snap one up, even though I view it as being the lesser camera.
