35mm Nikkor-O D800

Will a 35mm Nikkor-O Non-AI mount on a D800 camera and if so, will it break the mirror? I would use this lens in manual mode of course, if it will mount and not break the mirror.

I heard over the years that some of the oder Nikon lens will break an SLR's mirror.
