Nikon 105 VR "macro" VS Tamron SP90 ?

I still use and LOVE my Tamron SP90 f/2.8 (non-Di) that I had bought together with my -dead now- Fuji S2 Pro, back in 2000, and I thought of getting the "newer" 105 f/2.8 VR.....

Does anyone have/use both lenses and what are your thoughts about them, respectively ? Would I get -even- better results with the Nikon "macro" lens, due to the VR and newer glass technique ?
