With the caveat that I'm prejudiced, definitely worth the $70. Any increase in optical zoom makes it worth it. While I love my HX20v, when I get to use the 30X optical zoom on my HX100, it can add so much.
And the really close macros of the HX20 really provide for some superb and fun photos!
