Interesting conversation about D800 at Best Buy

Went to Best Buy today and inquired about D800 availability. They showed me the computer screen showing there were ten in the regional distribution center. When they tried to order it for me, the system wouldn't let them.

I asked what would happen to those bodies, I was told they would be released eventually, but it was likely the manufacturer holding them back. Don't know what to think, but figured I would report it and see what others might know/think.
