40d OK, no MFA
50d better, did use MFA
7d even better, didn't use MFA, all lenses sharper than 50
5d III ever better, no MFA on any lens out of about 20

Curiously, I didn't need any MFA on 7d until recently. Don't know if I just didn't notice, or if some tolerance built up over 2 years.

So, things appear to be getting better as times goes on. You can't judge by one model or one sample.

I might think than 60d owner have less money spent on glass (on the average), and it's for fast primes that MFA is needed and the most useful.
