Some Garmin handheld GPS has a built in compass. But you need to calibrate them which usually involves rotating, flipping and spinning the unit. Anway I find the GP-N100 GPS fiddly to use as you have to wait several seconds each time you turn on the camera to get a position fix. This happens a lot if you are trying to save battery life.
