I am using the Bos Strap. Give up on Custom SLR D strap as it has too many potential points of failure. The Bos Strap has its weakness too. The nickel plated sliding fitting is always chaffing my camera when stowed. I need to find a way to wrap it with rubber, maybe a section of bicycle tube may work. The G3 tail is too long, so your camera bounces quite a bit, but shortening the G3 tail results in the sliding fitting getting in the way when lifting the camera to eye level. Having all the camera and lens weight on one lug may not be a good idea, there are reports in Fuji x-pro cameras lugs wearing out prematurely. These alternative strapping systems are solutions which create other problems of its own.
