2 24" monitors or 1 30"?

I am in the lucky situation where I saved enough to buy a 30 inch screen to replace my old and failing 22" LCD TN screen. I had my eyes set on the HP ZR30W or the Dell U3011.

But then, I realized that with the same amount of $, I could have 2 HP ZR2440W or 2 Dell U 2411, and save money.

At work, I am used to having 1 24" as main screen, and 2 portrait 17" (one on each side) and I like the way it helps organize the workspace.

At home, I mostly manage my digital pic (Photools IMatch, Photoshop, Premiere), watching movies (netflix, blu-ray), word / excel, some programming. I'm not a gamer but do spend some time relaxing with Flight Simulator from time to time.

So... share your opinions and experience: 1 30" or 2 24" ?
