Why doesn't 60D need MFA like 7D does?

I have both the 600D and the 7D and a variety of lenses ( all Canon except for a 70 -300 Tamron) Even after micro adustment ( done manually and using Reikan ) the results from the 600D are sharper than those from the 7D.

While vastly improved - especially using Reikan - the 7D is a little bit softer than the 66D and Icheck every shot as I lack a bit of confidence with the 7D ability to focus spot on and produce sharp pictures

In my opinoin the 600D is a great camera giving excellent reasults with ease while the 7D has to worked at and even then does not always deliver.
