Instagram, although having some preset-looks is mainly a photo-sharing platform, and it requires access to a lot of your personal information, including your contact list. (I too would not install Instagram)
FashionGrade as Android-app, on other hand respects your privacy, does not require permissions to your private information, and saves the images to your camera-roll so you can do with them whatever you like.
but of course you can use the web-version, which is essentially the same
the tones and adjustments that are available here are the same ones made by pro-retouchers and photographers for fashion magazines. Here they are packaged and easily adjusted so the users do not need extensive understanding of post-processing.
