"One of the main reasons that I bought the XZ-1 was because of its small size."

You can carry the XZ-1 in a shirt pocket, with a spare battery and older Pen VF-1 optical viewfinder (for really bright days) in your other shirt pocket. Impossible with the larger E-P Pen cameras.

The XZ-1 is a perfect travel camera. A Leica for the rest of us, with a great lens for low-light street photography. Its small size and weight spoils you... makes it hard to go back to a camera you wear around your neck.

Of course, you can load up your XZ-1 with size-increasing options... like the excellent Lensmate adapter tube, so you can add an Olympus 1.7X teleconverter lens, filters, etc. But it won't fit in your pocket anymore -- and, here, you'd be better off getting the E-P1 with its interchangeable lenses and larger sensor.

One option is very much worthwhile -- Richard Franiec's XZ-1 grip. Lets the XZ-1 handle as well as the newer SZ super-tele cameras. Worth every penny!
