I must say that I think it works perfect! I don't have to take the camera down. I push the AF button in the left site with my thumb on left hand. Then I navigate the arrow buttons with my right hand thumb. Very quick and easy.

Practise my friends, is the way to do it. After a while it feels very natural and intuative!

Its the same thing when people for the first time use manuel focus on manuel lenses. Have you never tried, it feels very difficult. I have used manuel focus on many cameras for the last 35 years, so it feels easy

The learning curve on X-pro1 is not the easiest, but over time you will get used to it. To many give up after at short time and thats a shame!
