Confirmed - optimal focus on the Voigtlander is actually outside the range where the focus confirmation dot appears - the dot appears when the lens is backfocused. I'd like to jump on the bandwagon and blame D7000 backfocusing, but both Zeiss 50's are spot on. So, either damaged lens or Voigtlander doesn't go through the same QC as Zeiss.

You get what you pay for, I guess?
