To answer your question... not really. Holding a camera at arms lenght isn't really compatible with "pro". First, you throw away any internal stability system advantage by not holding it as steadily as a true viewfinder camera (whether SLR type like the OM-D or Lumix G3 or rangefinder as with the good ol' Leica M). Second, however good your screen is, it is still the pits in direct sunlight. And I'm not even mentioning the problems with most visually-challenged individuals (especially those of a "respectable" age): the obvious lack of a diopter adjustment on a rear display means you have a choice of seing either the screen or the scene clearly but not both or using these despicable bi-focals (yech!).

In other words, I totally welcome the arrival of the OM-D or even Lumix GX-1 (with the optional LVF2 viewfinder)...
