Very nice Gayle...I agree on the convenience of that lens for when you need to get the shots - even BIFs and wildlife. I usually shoot those subjects with dedicated primes or long reach birding lenses, but times have come along where I saw the situation and only had the 18-250 with me, and could still get the shot.

I recognize all the birds - shot many of the same this past weekend myself! Always love the roseates in flight with those great pink colors - ours are just coming back to the wetlands in full force for the summer - dozens of them are settling in now.

Keep shooting - BIFs are a ton of fun, and always get better with practice and volume!
