18 mm poor reviews

I saw a number of bad reviews or at least if not bad, less enthusiastic reviews of the 18mm when it came out as well as a few comments by users that it wasnt quite as good as the other two lenses. I think it is therefore a legitimate question.

As someone who is thinking about buying an X Pro system I´d certainly be interested in hearing people´s real experiences of using the 18mm as I prefer uing wides myself and it´s one possible area of concern.

Antitrolling paranoia is as tedious as trolling and really just another side of the same coin.
