Danack, you are right about #1 and I agree with it.

  1. 2 the photos look great. However, have you compared the same one shooting without TC and then enlarge them in photoshop?

Having said that my keeper rate is massively reduced when using the extender. I pretty much only use it when I and my subject are stationary but it does work:
