K-30 mid-size SLR
Dpreview must have a very strange way of deciding on camera body sizes. It says that K-30 is a mid-size SLR, while Canon T4i is a compact SLR even though it is bigger than the Pentax in every dimension.
It is 133 x 100 x 79 mm (T4i) vs 130 x 97 x 71 mm (K-30).
I find it interesting.
It's a question of "relativity".
When compared with the largest cameras of same mount from each brand the T4i is a lot smaller than the 1D while the K-30 is just moderately smaller the K-5.
