Hopefully after one of these sequences (or more) your hot/stuck pixels may disappear.

That's right, it may take more than one pixel mapping sequence. When i discovered the hot pixel at > =ISO1600 on my NEX-5N, i manually triggered the pixel mapping several times by advancing the date. This didn't help. But after some weeks and two or three automatic pixel mapping sequences (shutter cycle after power-off), the hot pixel was gone.

It might also be possible that i initiated the pixel mapping with an adapted lens. Maybe pixel mapping failed because the camera not only closes the shutter, but also tries to close the lens aperture, which does not work for non-e-mount lenses.

Interestingly, the hot pixel was not visible on liveview until the first shutter release after power on. Of course, during magnified playback it always was.
