He had to stop the bleeding first, and the bleeding has stopped. He stopped making things worse and things have begun to get better. Romney wants to make things worse again, and has said so.

The irony here Lee, which you don't get, (And Fergus is incapable of getting) is that Mr. Obama has essentially followed a Republican game plan from beginning to end.

His heath care plan? Modeled on Romney and Gingrich care.

His stimulous? A typical Republican plan, where money is doled out primarily to the States.

His tax plan? A normal Republican approach, leaving the real sources of the Wealthy's income untouched.

His foreign economic Plan? More "Free Trade" Agreements, backed by the entire Republican Party, and opposed by two thirds of Obamas own party.

That the Republlicans hate him is completely understandable - he's running with their platform, and they hate being ripped off.
