Lens advice needed

I have an A57 with the 18-55 kit lens and the 35mm 1.8 prime. I realized the kit lens doesn't give me enough range, so I was looking into zoom lens options to complement the lenses I already have. Only wanted to spend $200-$250 maybe. I saw I can get the Sony 55-200 for about $200, and that looks like an option. But then I checked out the Sigma outlet and saw I can get the Sigma 18-200 refurbished for about the same price.

What would be the better option? The Sigma that covers the entire range or get the Sony to complement the kit lens? Or another option maybe?
