Minolta 28-70G question/issue

Hey Folks,

I had a question for anyone who has used this lens. I have a copy that has two issues that I can speak of and I wanted to see how common they are. Neither affect image quality, but I'm concerned.

1) The zoom ring seems rather loose and has some play in it back and forth, perpendicular to the direction it twists. It's not horrible, but it concerns me as to why it would be so loose. It's never been dropped and the other copy of the lens I had was not this loose.

2) This one is harder to explain, but there is almost a "textured" finish inside one of the elements around where it is fixed to the lens body. It looks like some sort of glue Minolta used as adhesive for one of the elements. There is not a trace of it in the light path, but it shows around the edge of the lens element. I will post a photo below as an example as I do not have a photo of mine handy. Is this normal? I've seen a few photos where it shows now.

If you look around the edges, you'll see the texture, almost sparkly pattern. Again, doesn't affect the image quality, but should I be concerned? Any chances it's a sign of the adhesive getting old and a lens element falling out of place? The seller of this lens on eBay says "Optically there's a bit of light air bubbles around the edge of an internal element but this will not affect photo quality."

Thank you ever so much for your help.
