I recently bought the 50L for my 7D. While I like it, the problems with front and back focusing was apparent to me. Do some googling about this inconvenience. I say inconvenience cause you have to use some tricks to get spot on focus between certain fstops. I ended up returning it. But the pictures are beautiful.
