Lumix 7-14mm for infrared

A little while back there was a thread http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1041&message=41465762 that got onto using the GF1 with an infrared conversion. At the time I didn't really have anything shot with the Lumix 7-14mm lens; since then I've been away and had the chance to shoot with this lens on the GF1 with 720nm conversion.
The bad news is that contrary to what I had found before, the lens does have a pronounced hot-spot on the IR body. You can see it quite clearly here, which is a file converted in ACR with no further adjustment.
The good news is that the hot-spot can be "adjusted" out in PP - at least for a B&W version. (I don't do false colour so can't comment on how easily it can be removed for that scenario.) After removing the hot-spot, and quite a bit more PP, it comes out like this.
In the original thread there was a question about the corner resolution of this lens in IR. Here's a crop from the bottom RH corner. I think it's good enough and apart from the nuisance of having to remove the hot-spot. I'm very happy with the results from this combination.
I should say that the image shown here is from the full 4000x3000 frame of the GF1, which is giving me very nice A3 and even A2 prints.
