OM-D - Panny 100-300 question
I just picked up a panny 100-300 lens to try out on my OM-D. I was wondering if other OM-D users shut off the OIS and just use the IBIS? Does using both help/hurt?
By the way, the one think I did learn shooting at 300 was that I suck at holding steady!!! I had OIS off, but IBIS really helped. The other thing that really helped was keeping the shutter speed up over 600.
My experience/feeling after a few days of using the combination is that the lens IS is better at keeping the viewfinder image steady but the IBIS may be slightly more effective for the actual exposure. This could potentially make sense given that the IBIS corrects for more types of movement.
