Concern about the Lensmate filter adaper and G1 X

My lensmate filter adapter fits well. Maybe a tad bit tighter then than the Canon lens hood but not much. The bayonet mount is quite convenient. I am tempted to put adapters on all the filters I want to use. They are very quick to change.
