Usable dynamic range on modern cameras vs s5pro, ie. Nex7, D7000 etc.

I'm looking for a high dynamic range, modern camera and I am considering various makes.

On DxoMark the Nex7 and A77 have almost as much dynamic range as the s5pro, but a long discussion on a technical forum concluded that the Dxo rating was not necessarily the practical dynamic range which, rather than 13 stops, was really more like 9. The DxoMark DR is really an engineers measure and not directly transferable to the field.

What are Fuji s5pro user's experiences of these modern high dynamic range cameras, such as the Pentax K5, Nikon d7000, Nikon D3x, Sony a580 etc?

Do they really compare favourably to the fuji?

Perhaps the fuji s5pro is still the king of (real) dynamic range.
