LX2 Upgrade

I am going to upgrade my now 6 year old LX2 and am going to go the m43 route. I am by no means a photographer but like taking pics and videos.

I have been looking around and had a play with the GX1, GF3 and EPL-3.

Olympus is out after looking again at it it's not as nice as I first remembered which takes it down to the GX1 or GF3.

Now the dilemma! The GX1 is around £480 with the kit lens (to be honest I think I would rather just have a pancake lens) and £550 after cashback for the X lens (cashback only on the x lens products now). Jessops have the GF3 with twin lens kit for £299.

Is the GX1 worth the extra for a beginner?
