Nikon D3200 Review in this week's Amateur Photographer

Generally a big thumbs up for the D3200.
Good dynamic range, good resolution, good low light performance.
It comes as no surpirse that these are all better when shooting RAW. Although perhaps slightly noisier than the 16MP Nikon's, having the extra pixels gives more flexibility for cropping and/or printing at the same sizes with less obvious noise than their would otherwise be.
So all in all, I think this bodes well for the D5100 and D7000 replacements which may well have the same sensor as the D3200 but enhanced functionality.
I'm cautiously optimistic
