So does today's announcement mean that Aperture 4 is still long time away?

As an Olympus user, I've been strongly tempted to switch over to Lightroom and check out its superior noise handling that everyone seems to love. But I've been putting it off, hoping that Apple would release something that will save me the hassle of switching.
And Apple released an update today, but just a .x upgrade with nary a mention of noise handling.
So I'm thinking, does this mean that Aperture 4 is still many months away, and I'm better off switching to Lightroom now instead of waiting for Apple to play catch up?
What are your thoughts?
