50 1.2 L on crop

Hi,

Does anybody have experience with the 50L on crop? I have a 50D and want a 50. The L is a bit of a overkill for me but I figure it will last me a lifetime and will work great on FF if I ever make a switch. Don't want the 1.4 or the 1.8 for various reasons. Would like some feedback from crop users, good and bad.
