Do MB-D12 owners feel that MB-D12 is worthwhile?

have both d700/grip and d800/grip.

d800 combo seems heavier in hand
not quite as ergonomic in my (decent size hands)

bodies only "cut" into hand and are awkward and uncomfortable- definitely need the grips either way.
800 feels a tad more "solid"

equal functionality - fps greater w/ the 700 of course - only relevant if you do sports or PJ

pricey but inevitable -grip - battery cap - en-el18 (1 or 2x) - charger (2x) and you are pushing 1k.

my favorite is still the D2hs - right size, weight, ergonomics.
