Software Upgrade Question

I agree that the upgrade to Lightroom 4 is a wonderful thing and I'm glad I've done it. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the changes from v.3 to v.4. That said, though, you will find that your versions of the "RAW converter" will no longer match if you do not also upgrade from CS5 to CS6 - ACR on the "Photoshop side" has also been given a major overhaul with the same algorithms as Lightroom's Develop module. If and when you want to take your image from Lightroom to Photoshop, you will get a warning message and asking what you want to do. My guess is that the best choice is "Render using Lightroom".
