If you're going to start a business and provide every aspect of photography, you will definitely need a backup body. An SB-700 or better for each camera and lenses, lenses, lenses. For events, I would look at any of the f/2.8 17-50, 17-55, or 18-50...
You will also need a 50-150/70-200 or something along those lines for the other camera, so you don't miss a shot. Needless to say, you need batteries, cases, backdrops, etc for all you intend to cover...
It's a costly road but if you're shooting an event and one camera or battery dies, you sure as heck better have a backup...
