Those are excellent lenses you have John. I'd love to get a hold of the 85/1.7 myself

If you're serious about the NEX system, I would recommend either the 5N which is perfect for using MF since it has a touchscreen for easy manual focusing or the 7 which has a better/bigger body.

If you just want a body to play around with old lenses, try looking for used 3/5/C3. All NEX bodies have excellent APS-C sensors. You can't go wrong.

As for adapters, they're very cheap. You can get one shipped from HK for $11:
