Street Lens CHeapo Pancake VS Oly 45!
Jun 9, 2012

After putting in a deposit for the OMD, I've had a few lens options floating around. I'm a street photographer who will be spending a few mouths abroad.

Mainly I'm a street photographer but I can't ignore the fact that I'll be shooting architecture and other sites. I figured for the landscape shots or anything that I need a wide shot for I could use the wide end of the 12-50mm. Which only opens up to a 3.5f

I've seen photos from the Oly 45mm and the lens is beautiful.
45mm is tight but for street it makes a great lens.

Here is my question. I'd like a lens that delivers maximum quality.

-The pancake is small! Which is great for travel or daily use which is important to me.

-The 45mm is very fast and great for portraits or really anything you would want to use the lens for.

Both are fast but the 45mm is faster.
